Q> Why do you want/need my signature sent to you?

A> We use your signature to be able to witness your document since you cannot be here in person.

Q> Do I need to send the signature page with my bond?

A> No, this page is what you sent us to witness your signature and is how you need to sign your documents.

Q> Why do I need a certified copy of my birth certificate?

A> Your birth certificate is required for bond indemnification.

Q> Where can I get my certified birth certificate?

Click Here  or contact the hospital where you were born.

Q> Is there a marked up sample of the birth certificate I can follow?

A> Yes, click here to download the sample.

Q> I don't have an American birth certificate, what now?

A> You can use any birth certificate regardless of country of origin.

Q> The USPS registered mail tracking number(s) on page two differ from the label I received, is this correct?

A> Yes, the tracking number(s) is/are for the other surety/sureties on your bond and does not relate to you.

Q> Do I need to send the plastic sheets and fasteners with my bond?

A> Yes, after you have signed and made your copies, put the bond back together as it arrived, and mail off the items. The sheets protect the bond and the fasteners holds it together.

Q> What value do I declare on the insurance form when mailing?

A> $500. This is what it cost for us to create the bond for you. Do NOT put the amount listed on your bond. Insurance is free up to $25,000 and insurance for $300,000,000 will be very costly.

Q> There is an error on my document, can I get it fixed?

A> Yes, however there are stipulations to this.
If the error is your fault, then correcting the document is $50 per page ($250 for a complete re-creation).
If the error is our fault, we will suffer the cost of reproduction.

Q> Why does it cost to replace the document if I made an error?

A> The materials for bond creation are expensive because of the requirements to be valid.

Q> Why did an error get through, didn't you check the documents before you mail them?

A> Yes, they are checked roughly about ten times before the bond is printed on the special materials. Each person also checks the document before they sign it (through three different people). Remember, we are only human; humans make errors.

Q> My question isn't answered here nor in my instructions for mailing the bond. Who can I contact?

A> Please use our contact form here to submit your question and/or comments to Travis or Char.
